Report: Chinese Corn Industry Review

14 February 2012

CHINA - The domestic corn product market in China has witnessed a peaceful month in January 2012.

The Chinese government has lots of policies, plans and measures ready to be published around the first quarter of 2012, some of which will impose great effects on the corn production industry in the long term, such as the 12th Five-Year Plan for the food and fermentation industry, as well as the new edition of Catalogue of Industries for Guiding Foreign Investment.

Overall, the corn deep-processing industry will keep being restrained in 2012, forcing corn's consumption volume to stay at a reasonable level.

Around 50 million tons of the corn produced in China has been directed to deep processing rather than being used for food or animal feed.

New market research report 'Corn Products China News 1201' provided by CCM Chemicals offers a close-up review of the key developments and activities in the Chinese corn industry during January 2012. The compilation provides a look at the market, marketers and the government’s performance.
