New Crop Fertiliser to Boost Plant Immunity

29 January 2010

CHINA - A new liquid-based fertiliser released by the China Green Agriculture Company has been designed specifically for use in farmland irrigation systems.

Di Guan Fei is one of four new fertilisers that has been developed by the company, which is on target to expand its production capacity.

The fertiliser benefits from being easily and quickly dissolved in water and absorbed by crop roots to boost the immune system of the plant, enhancing productivity.

Chairman of the company Tao Li said: "We remain on schedule in meeting our construction goals for our additional 12 new greenhouses which will further increase the company's ability to develop high margin fertiliser products as well as humic acid (HA)-based derivatives such as HA-based pesticides and herbicides."

China Green Agriculture has also announced the release of Jinong Jingdian, a fertiliser designed to increase crop yields in various weather conditions.

The other two fertilisers, Liang Guo Zeng Tian and Lan Gai, are designed to assist fruit crops.

This brings the total number of HA-based fertilisers sold by the company to 141, distributed over 21 provinces.

Earlier this week, the company announced that it will release its fiscal year 2010 financial results next month, on February 8th.
