Corn conditions remain strong this week, with 45 per cent across 18 states, in the 'good' category and 11 per cent classed as 'excellent'.Indiana is struggling with corn conditions as 36 per cent is classed as either poor, or very poor.
In contrast, neighbouring state Illinois is classing the majority of corn as in 'fair' condition, with 33 per cent classed as 'good'.
Further west, Iowa is enjoying good corn conditions, with 16 per cent classed as 'excellent' and more than half (52 per cent) in the 'good' category.
Soybean conditions are very mixed this week across 18 states, with 25 per cent of Mississippi soybean conditions classed as 'excellent'.
Again, Indiana is struggling with 12 per cent of soybean conditions classed as 'very poor' and 24 per cent 'poor'.
North Dakota is enjoying the highest quality soybean conditions, with 77 per cent classed as 'good' and 11 per cent in the 'excellent' bracket.
